WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS
OF OPERATION?
WHAT IS DRY STACK
MOORAGE? Dry Stack
Moorage is covered boat
racks that provide dry
places and easy access
for removing your boat
(with a forklift) from
the rack to a boat lift
and return. Your boat is
gently set on two wooden
timbers that provide a
support bed for the
boat. The rack structure
has four levels and the
boats are placed in
individual racks with a
specially designed
forklift that uses very
long forks. The boat is
cradled with articulated
forks and transported to
the boat-lift for final
launch into the water.
WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE
IN KEEPING MY BOAT OUT
OF THE WATER AND IN A
COVERED BOAT RACK?
The advantage in keeping
your boat out of the
water is three fold.
First is to prevent the
growth of grasses and
other organic material
from growing onto the
hull. Second is to
preserve the out-drive
and any other mechanical
equipment from
barnacles, grass, and
corrosion thus reducing
maintenance costs. By
keeping your boat out of
water between uses you
do not have to paint the
bottom with anti fouling
paint. This all
contributes to
maintaining the value of
your investment.
Finally, another
advantage at our
facility, is if you are
going cruising in Puget
Sound, your engine or
cooling system is
flushed in fresh water
after entering the
locks. Winter boat
storage is also
available.
DO YOU HAVE IN WATER
MOORAGE DURING AND
AFTER LAUNCH OPERATIONS
ARE COMPLETE? Yes.
We have approximately
600’ of dock that is
dedicated for rack
boats. This dock is used
exclusively for loading
and unloading and for
moorage before you
depart and when you
return.
IS THERE PARKING
AVAILABLE AT YOUR
FACILITY? Yes. We
have a parking lot that
you can park free while
you are actively using
your boat up to 24
hours. And we now offer a secure premium parking spot for $50.00 per month. Longer term
parking arrangements can
be made by calling (206)
213-9999.
WHAT IS THE LARGEST
BOAT YOU CAN HANDLE?
The largest boat we can
presently handle is 33’
long x 11’ wide. The
maximum weight is
13,000lbs.
WHAT IS YOUR MONTHLY
CHARGE?
$199 minimum charge w/ annual contract
DO YOU TAKE TRAILERS
AND IF SO WHAT IS THE
MONTHLY CHARGE?
We take trailers if
space is available. The
charge for trailers is
$50/month.
ARE LAUNCH CHARGES
SEPARATE FROM THE RACK
STORAGE? There are
no charges for launch
and haul services.
CAN YOU HANDLE
SAILBOATS? We do
not handle sailboats.

HOW MUCH NOTICE MUST
I GIVE TO HAVE MY BOAT
IN THE WATER?
During working hours one
hour notice is
sufficient. If you are
going to go boating
after hours please give
us as much notice as
possible. All requests
for launching should be
made before 3pm. Upon
your arrival your boat
will be in the water and
tied to the dock.
Upon return the same
thing goes; if you come
in after working hours
you will tie your boat
(starboard side) to the
dock. Unless there are
specific instructions,
the boat will be placed
back into the rack the
next day. An extra set
of keys should be left
with us in case we need
to move the boat during
launch and haul times.
Launch and haul phone
(206) 619-6053.
IS THERE ANYWHERE I
CAN WORK ON MY BOAT
AFTER IT IS IN THE
WATER? Because of
insurance issues and
restrictions by DOE we
do not allow owners to
work on their boat in
the marina. We can
place the boat on blocks
for minor work, call us
to arrange.
CAN I SUB-LEASE MY
RACK SPACE? Yes,
provided you remain as
