WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS
OF OPERATION?
WHAT IS DRY STACK
MOORAGE? Dry Stack
Moorage is covered boat
racks that provide dry
places and easy access
for removing your boat
(with a forklift) from
the rack to a boat lift
and return. Your boat is
gently set on two wooden
timbers that provide a
support bed for the
boat. The rack structure
has four levels and the
boats are placed in
individual racks with a
specially designed
forklift that uses very
long forks. The boat is
cradled with articulated
forks and transported to
the boat-lift for final
launch into the water.
WHAT IS THE ADVANTAGE
IN KEEPING MY BOAT OUT
OF THE WATER AND IN A
COVERED BOAT RACK?
There are three primary benefits of keeping your boat stored out of the water.
First it prevents the
growth of grasses and
other organic material
that normally grow on the
hull when it sits in water. Second it minimizes the amount of time that your sterndrive and other mechanical components are exposed to the corrosion action of water, thereby reducing maintenance costs. Third, there is no need to paint the bottom of your hull with anti-fouling paint every year if the boat is not expected to endure long periods of time stored in the water. All these factors contribute to maintaining the value of your investment and minimizing your overall maintenance costs. For those customers that are going cruising in Puget Sound, your engine or cooling system is automatically flushed in fresh water once you return through the locks and before the boat is re-stored in the rack.
DO YOU HAVE IN WATER
MOORAGE DURING AND
AFTER LAUNCH OPERATIONS
ARE COMPLETE? Yes.
We have approximately

dedicated for rack

for loading/unloading and staging boats before they depart and when they return.

FACILITY? Yes. We have a parking lot that you can park in for free for 24 hours while you are actively using your boat. We also offer a secure premium parking spot inside the facility for $50.00 per month. Longer term parking arrangements can be made by calling (206) 213-9999.
WHAT IS THE LARGEST
BOAT YOU CAN HANDLE?

presently handle is 33’
long x 11’ wide. The
maximum weight is
13,000lbs.
WHAT IS YOUR MONTHLY
CHARGE?

AND IF SO WHAT IS THE

STORAGE? There are

HOW MUCH NOTICE MUST
I GIVE TO HAVE MY BOAT
IN THE WATER?
During working hours one
hour notice is
sufficient. If you are
going to go boating
after our normal operating hours please give
us as much notice as
possible. All requests
for launching should be
made before 3pm. Upon
your arrival your boat
will be in the water and
tied to the dock.
When you return to the facility simply tie the boat to the dock or to another boat that is tied to the dock. If you have not given the fork operator any indications that you intend to use the boat again,
the boat will be placed
back into the rack the
next day. An extra set
of keys should be left
with us in case we need
to move the boat during
launch and haul times.
Launch and haul phone
(206) 619-6053.
IS THERE ANYWHERE I
CAN WORK ON MY BOAT
AFTER IT IS IN THE
WATER? Because of
insurance issues and
restrictions by DOE we
do not allow owners to
work on their boat in
the marina. We can
place the boat on blocks
for minor work, call us
to arrange.
CAN I SUB-LEASE MY
RACK SPACE? Yes,
provided that you remain as
guarantor for purposes of paying
the lease payments. We will need a copy of insurance for any boat that is using your space.

facilities at our dock
